The Impact of Pastoral Support on Trauma

Every single person is part of the pastoral team, even if they're not named for it. We've had very sad situations where we've had to arrange burial costs because people have passed away. It's linking up with local charities and community voluntary sector organizations that might be able to support our members. Over the pandemic, it was getting IT, so getting laptops out to everybody. And we work with a great charity called Computer Aid, who we were able to get enough laptops for us to get 60 of our members access to their educational materials online. So I value the work that we do, but I don't overestimate the impact it has on people's lives.
