Is There Progress Within Evolution?

i notice that a lot of people get stuck on this topic, even though i think it's a very simple topic. Understanding what meaning is is not that complicated. But for some reason it just does not compute in people's minds and they have all sorts of objections which keep them from embracing what iam saying.
