What Makes a Good Explanation in the Science?

F falsifiability is very much part of what makes a good explanation in the science. I'm trying to find my way into constructive theory at the moment. It's very hard to come by and parts of it that we've got are very hard to change. We're still far away from having any experimental tests of it.
