The Importance of Due Process in a Liberal Democracy
I've always thought that it was quite interesting that the conservative appointed head of the office for students, who gives us lectures on freedom of speech and a balanced and tolerant discussion, not very long ago was speaking in support of Mr Orbán's conferences. He couldn't have better know who any of them were. The things that matter in liberal democracy is a due process. And rule of law institutions, including dare I say liberal universities, which should be pillars of a liberal democracy. So I think it's very important that we should recognize that there's a thicker tapestry when you come to talk about liberal democracies and simply voting. It does help when people and successful leaders in liberal democracies appear
