The Importance of Responsible Chatbots
Tristan Harris from the Center for Humane Technology produced on Snapchat as a 13-year-old girl and interacted with the AI in my one-year era. What he described to this AI, your chatbot, was essentially the experience of being groomed by a sexual predator. How do we proceed down this seemingly inevitable path that we seem to be treading and not make kids or vulnerable people collateral damage? I think we need to work out some very thorough standards for our responsibility when it comes to the outputs of AI chatbots.
