A new farm using a tractor could produce four times more than that farmer at least. The Horse Association of America, or HAA, was formed in 1919 to champion the cause of horses. You could also think of them as tractor luddites. A lot like the 19th century luddites in England, who smashed machinery and factories to protest the textile mills.
