What's Your Memory of Hip-Hop Music in 1993?

"We weren't paying attention to mainstream media in 1993 and what they had to say about rap at all but i've gone back and looked at a lot of those articles too," he says. "They do tend to be pretty pretty corny and outsidery um and and and and you know white gazish or whateverUm but you know it kind of went with the territory at that time  I mean especially when you talk about southern rap right like even even hip-hop journalists didn't know how to talk about what was coming out of the south"
