The New York Times is an outlier. There seem to be, have found a profitable model largely through doing things that were kind of like some of the stuff I tested long ago and their video work. But overall, you look at any state capital in the United States and where there used to be 10 local reporters covering politics and the like, there's zero or maybe one.
