The book is called the Golden Mole and other living treasure. I wanted all of the creatures to be black and white and gold so that this idea that the truest treasure is that which lives would be rendered visually. Talya has this beautiful mix of realism whereby the creatures she draws do look like she draws them but she also has a sense of character and flair we wanted them to feel a little bit strange because the project is in some way and in stranginingYeah that's that's exactly yeah and I mean they are they are magnificent works of art to surround these beautiful words.
