Stephen was the first of several witnesses to take the stand, putting him face to face with parnell for the first time since his arrest. He told the court room that he had always remembered that his name was stephen, but parnell had threatned to spank him if he ever told anyone his real identity. As stephen didn't testify about the sexual abuse, and because the 87 counts he reported were not admitted to the court, the child molestation charges against parnell were dropped due to insufficient evidence.
