A third enlightenment is called for in order to shine a light on how digital enlightenment has transformed into a new kind of servitude. There seems to be this incessant pathway towards what he calls permanent credentialing there are so many bureaucratic bodies involved in the the creation of a teacher. We're constantly building up this form of managed collectivity in which we are under constant scrutiny and this dynamic gets reflected in the way that we grade our students.
