The Relationship Between Jean and Verna

Jean and Verna just seemed to get along well. They'd go to concerts together and share a glass of wine when Jean would pick up Heidi and Kirsten from Verna's house on Broad Beach. Fred says he really only knew Verna casually from the occasional drop-off or pickup on the way to and from his job at Point Magoo. Bill, he had raced sports cars for a while. And I think at the time I had tried hang gliding and he actually thought that that might be something that he was interested in. But before they had a chance to get known each other, Bill fell from the building where he was working and died.
