Hoxie's Bluff

The case spent several years wandering through the courts before the AMA finally insisted it go to trial. Harry Hoxie pled guilty and received $100 fine for practicing medicine without a license. The judge dismissed his claims because at the same time they were fighting a lawsuit brought against Hoxie by the family of one of his dead patients.
