The Old Testament and Prophecy
In Deuteronomy 19, we're talking about independent lines of witness and testimony. You see that carried over in the New Testament. When it comes to prophecy though, I would say there's a difference between saying like the Lord like directing your steps or when Jesus says that when you're standing before the synagogue and you will not know what to speak you'll be given that word to say. And so this is something that I think culturally is super important to understand. Like you know the Reformation began really close to the Enlightenment. So propositional knowledge is super important at this time because the Enlightenment is a very propositionally knowledge driven. There's other types of knowledge. One is
