It's nearly seven o'clock in the morning for me. So it's still dark outside. I don't mind getting up early, actually. It's quite nice to be up before everyone else. But it's totally dark outside. And normally my main source of light when I'm recording a video is the window in front of me but it's just pitch black out there. So I've got this kind of light, big light shining straight in my face. You can tell me what you think as a visual artist.
In conversation with Mysterious Al, a contemporary artist / street artist from London now living in Melbourne, Australia. The conversation covers Al's background, how he makes his art, the difference between street art & graffiti, attitudes towards graffiti, how Al needs to use social media (but doesn't like it!) his recent ghost train exhibition, and more.
