John 1, within a first century Jewish context It makes sense that They're just reading All that John is saying is that Jesus is that Messiah Right, absolutely Beginning at Sinai Is where he's picking it up And that we receive grace then Even more now We've received grace as he's Here and seen. As John within Judaism He's basically saying This is why we should accept him as the Messiah Because Look at what he's blessed us with in the past He's reliableis essentially the argument that John's trying to have But I know that sounds crazy We could do like three episodes on it But I just at least had to throw it out there Right now!
