Aren't You Going to See a Slowdown in GDP?
I don't think that we're going to see a decline in GDP, which you might point to and say, well, you've got fewer people. And having said that, aren't you going to find that there's less demand for almost everything? The developing world will emphasize goods produced by human labor, which I guess they're already doing because they're behind us technologically. But I think you'll see this shift globally where the developed world starts even more so than it is now focusing on capital goods. It does seem that the trends that are already evident are likely to continue.
