humanities is a walled garden of pseudo knowledge. There's a perverse incentive when you can't pay scientists or even technologists at appropriate levels. I think a those jobs are supposed to be better compensated because of large scale tampering in the sector. And i know people will scream, so you have no idea how much money tec people get paid. I really don't believe it.
