The Importance of Service to the Church

You have served as the tenth president of Brigham Young University with honor and distinction. There will be another occasion for formal release, but it likely will be cluttered with the business of naming a successor. Thank you for your dedicated service to the church which you love. You've given unsteadingly of your time, your talents, your means and your heart.
