The Entrapment Argument in Michigan
The FBI is manufacturing these plots by finding people who are susceptible for whatever reason, whether it's mental deficiency, or they're incentivized by money. And then the plot is made possible by the undercover agents who then facilitate everything. The Michigan case was partially a test of whether white defendants accused of a right-wing crime might have a more sympathetic jury to entrapment than people of color accused of Islamist extremism. All we can say is that the Denver case is the first example that we have in the first kind of behind scenes look at what the FBI was doing.
