Goals and Non-Attachedness
I view my goals with a sense of fluidity. I'm always asking myself, is this the most skillful goal to have right now? And if it is, I'm still working really hard towards it. But when it's not, because the combination of shapes in the game of Tetris life has changed, I change with it. So I don't think that we need to approach the idea of goals and non-attachment and say, Oh, I shouldn't have any goals. What we should be doing is saying, I do have goals, but I understand that life changes. It's only in the context of the present moment and present circumstances that these goals make sense.
