Mark McGowan's Resignation

West Australia and premier Mark McGowan announced on Monday that he would depart the role at the end of the week. He cited exhaustion for his decision, which he said it'd be he'd been contemplating quite a while off the back of the challenge in COVID years. Not everyone was thrilled with McGowan's work as premier with some celebrating his resignation and criticizing his policies.
