The Supposed Learning Curve
The suspected learning curve, for many people, is linear. People expect it to be a perfect straight line of progress from point A to point B. It doesn't work like that because at the beginning, when you start to learn, the curve is very steep. Ultimately, the more of a language that you learn, the less there is to learn.
