Sex Without Consequences
In a society without contraception, it makes perfect sense to say that sex should only take place within a socially recognized relationship. And I think it's actually in women's interests moreover, in that kind of society. Because the risk of having sex without that commitment from the male is even up abandoned. In a society without a welfare state, that's a disaster.
