Is RPI a Good Measure of Inflation?
The Office for National Statistics has fallen down badly on the job when it comes to measuring and communicating about UK inflation. It's neglected the Retail Prices Index, a long-established and well-respected inflation measure. We've got a friend of the show, Chris Giles, economic senator of the Financial Times, to answer some of your queries.
