The Pluralistic Mindset of Eastern Orthodoxy

I converted to Eastern Orthodoxy in high school because as you note a lot of the time your identity is interlocked with multiple I am a white Protestant conservative from Oklahoma well I joined an Eastern Orthodox Church so now all of the people I'm hanging out with are Lebanese and about half of them are Democrats. It kind of permanently blew apart any associations I had between my ethnic tradition and my political identity and my religious identity they were all completely separate to me from that point on. Maybe bringing religion back is if you don't want it we don't want racism and this political strife is no good maybe some kind of religiosity where we managed to not hate the other ones is or we fake an alien
