How Has the Demographics of America Changing?

Mark Whitaker: We talk a lot about the changing demographics of america, and you kind of allude it to this earlier. How does it affect the data that we collect and even the questions that we ask? Whitaker: One of the things that we've been doing at the research center is to do indept studies of parts of the us. He says there are nuane stories within the black population that oftentimes don't emerge unless you look more deeply in the data.Whitaker: Research will eventually shape how we think about racial identity but also how we report it out.
