When I see European paintings, so much of it when we go into galleries is actually disguising the sort of glorification of violence against women or violence against the other. You know, museums are trying to rethink their role as public institutions and what those institutions mean to particular communities. But this idea that we're still regurgitating these stories in the sense that when we think of the rape of Europa or Susanna in the Elders, it's almost the same like La Demozell.
