How to Dissect a Sunfish?

The skin of the sunfish is made up of a thin external layer with sangs, like kind of sand papery texture. And then underneath that we get this thick, white, gelatinous kind of tissue and capsulates the whole fish. It's also known as the hypodermis - it's like a kind of a mesh of elastin and cologin. This is the bit that has the really interesting multiple functions for the fish, gives them ere their lovely shape and a makes them less flexible.
