Depolarization and the Winky Back Cycle

So imagine an electrical stimulus arriving to a slow d v node, sort of stimulus one, whatever. So de polarization goes through, but it's slow and weak. This extends the duration of the action potential. And then i am wondering what happens hwe hit the absolute refractory period. Think, i knowwe does it get longer and then longer and then drop?
