"I prayed more for Mark than anything I've ever prayed for in my life," his mother says. "There are still going to be a lot of things that happen while we're out there, and it's not just one or two people who get killed every single time you come back from an overseas deployment" The family lost their son during Operation Red Wing; he was deployed to Iraq with the SEAL Team Six. He is survived by three other sons: Bruiser, Christopher and Maya.
