Are Expectations a Part of the Yield Curve?

Jeffrey Toobin: We have everybody saying that rates are going to go higher except two people, the treasury yield curve. And you have these... We can trade it as a person. That's fine. It acts like an anamorphic thing anyway. Right? You have foreign private investors buying bonds and obviously they must not know what they're doing at all because we also have foreign central banks which are dumping bonds. He says expectations could not be farther apart at this point.Toobin: If the expectation is as the Federal Reserve reminded us repeatedly this week, especially in the wake of last week's October CPI that was soft, markets certainly took that way including stocks.
