Emily Dickinson's poetry was a tremendous secret and she died as i said to be precise on May the 15th 1886 aged 55. Her sister found a locked chest and when they unlocked the chest there was slightly less than 1800 unpublished poems in there written by Emily. Even then when they started to get published people still cut out the dashes and changed some bits to try and make them more accessible. It wasn't really until 1955 that they appeared in their original form so that's Emily Dickinson as i say i took me a while to get into it but when i got into it i loved itthere's lots lots lots more out there just less than 1800 and they're all sure but they are heavily
