The Transformational Nature of the Outward Bound Programme

i'm very classic, text book, oldest child in a substance abuse family. And because we are white and middle class, there's a lot of shame that goes along with it. But i didn't have the words or tools to ever have sat with some of those things until my outward bound course. These types of learning experiences help you connect with your elf, with others and with nature. There's something very holistic about being able to sit with yourself, to see yourself, to be able to connect with and relate to others, and then also with nature and the planet. So i think that that is what that outward bound course g me, and really opened opened my eyes to the possibility
