Becky and her husband have a few kids living at home at any given time. She didn't have her first child till she was almost sixty, and back then they had to take donor eggs from someone else and implant your DNA into them if you didn't have any of your own samples put on ice. Cameron's older brother has been putting in 1000 hour work weeks for decades now, and his mother has apparently lived several thousand years in virtual space. Neither Cameron's digital mother nor his very cybernetic older brother are that classically affectionate, and both tend to run their subjective time rates far faster than normal.
