Poland Slipping Into Authoritarianism
Poland is a success story of transformation in the area of economics, but also in politics and institution. It enabled us to join the European Union and enabled many people to improve their well-being, their economic situation. But what we observe now is that after successful transition in the region, we have a series of bad transitions. The biggest threat here is obviously the rule of law. And it is not because the Brussels is criticizing the Polish government.
