China's Trade Data for May
Exports down 7.5%. That was a big surprise, but also presumably is a bit of a concern. Reuters said that basically China had caught up on the backlog of untrulfilled orders after COVID and there's not enough global demand to sustain a recovery. The increase that we saw was just a plain catch up and now there's nothing else to replace it. So it's demand driven rather than supply driven.
