I think it's been too long. You can't expect people to just slam the paywall down. I doubt anyone was diligently putting aside their student loan cash into a separate savings account if they would have to start paying again. It should have a lot of other pandemic supports stopped long before the student loan pause stopped. By definition, the people who would have trouble making those payments are the ones who are most affected.
