The Dangers for Foreigners Traveling to China

Last month, the US State Department issued a travel advisory warning Americans to reconsider traveling to China. They cited risks that you just talked about, wrongful detentions, things known as exit bans and other legal risks. So I think that follows up on a lot of themes that people have been discussing. There's no sort of institution inside China that can actually serve as independent interpreter of laws in the United States.
