The Impact of the Kesic Movement on the Will of God

Elizabeth Elliot wrote about through gates of splendor in her 1957 multi biography. The book is also an exposition of the then 29 year old Elliot's beliefs about the will of God. She took this teaching seriously responding to an altar call for salvation at age 10 and another at 12 to make clear her commitment to the will ofGod. Elizabeth Elliot still believe God cares about and is involved in both the big picture and details but her whole emphasis isn't seeking God's guidance had changed.
