Every state in the United States had some sort of fledgling LGBT rights group by the 1960s. Stonewall's not the first of these rights, right? It's kind of the culmination of all of the serious rights that happen across the nation. Fans may recognize some of the voices and some of the stories. And my voice, I get to play Edmund White in the book.
