The Weakness in UK Labour Market Figures This Past Week
Inflation has been very high this past few months. For April, we're actually expecting quite a ministerial decline in the headline with that largely a result of base effects to be fair. Here we're forecasting just a shy of 8% for the annual figure, so 7.9 in terms of CPI. In terms of core inflation, we're still expecting that to be fairly sticky.
