Keeping It Interesting

There's lots of things that only happen once and to keep it interesting, but the actual baseline and drum beat basically stay the same for the whole track. In fact, I'm pretty sure that apart from a few sort of skippy kick drum moments, there is no change in the drums apart from a tambourine comes in. And we was that idea of doing the kind of simplest thing and then building on top of that, having the foundation be very, very simple.
