What Happens When You Have Black Voters?

During reconstruction period, you see black men, women not allowed to vote still for a lot of this period. You have hundreds of black elected officials all over the country. And it looked like everything was just going to be hunky dory and life was going to go on. But you probably can figure out that didn't last very long. It's when you start getting black codes, Jim Crow laws and things like this coming up.
