What Is the Deep Sea?

The deep sea is a billion cubic kilometers, or 95% of the earth's space for life to exist. It begins at about 200 meters and reaches its maximum depth just shy of 11 kilometers in the Mariana trench. There are some threats that you identified to the deep sea ecosystems which we'll talk about next.
