I was a stringer for the daily telegraph in the late eighties and nineties. There aren't that many papers that still write editorial obits in the english language. The new york times has as editorial obituaries. I wrote james cross's obituary, for instance, the man who was kidnapped by the f l q. But james cross was born in ireland. Anyway, it's an interesting area of journalism.
