The Cost of Living Crisis

The threshold for accessing free school meals is a household income of 7,400 pounds a year. Many people on universal credits are who the state acknowledges need help to live but nevertheless do not qualify for school meals. In the London area something like 40% of children whose families are on universal credit don't qualify forSchool Meals. I'll speak to somebody it's only one person I know but I suspect this is repeated in many households across Britain.
