I think it's partly great because he just made up everything. The town he painted is based on this town of San Remi, but in real life, that was a large town of 6,000 people. He also painted this whole painting during the day. So whole thing was made in daytime just like remembering night. And apparently one reason you can tell is when you look at the painting,. It's running just above the hills and the painting horizontally. That's based on what morning mist looks like. I feel like they're not giving the art prison people that gorgeous or just little view.
