What's Going On?

"We need to find tracks. Is anyone good at expecting tracks or anything like that? Didn't you say there were some tracks?" A strange, crumbling noise comes from the distance. It's a dire wolf in body, but swollen in shape, maybe eight to ten feet from foot to shoulder. Red burning eyes, bony spurs coming out of it. One of them was forward and you see a faint bit of that glow that the shards had, embedded in its head under an eye. And as it snarls its head splits open. "And a weird little tengele like, oh Stay back, Terry, and exclaimed."
