Understanding Children's Consent Forms in Home Visitation Programs

Joyce and a colleague of ours, Tarek, who once worked with our partner in the Middle East International Rescue Committee, we were working on an evaluation of a home visiting program for parents of children 0-2. We don't really know that parents understand what they're consenting to. The other layer is that generally Arab culture is tend to be more on the hospitable side of the spectrum. And so it was, we expected that it was going to be kind of difficult to say no or not consent to the research when we're in the homes of the people.
